While waiting for the next train at the subway station, a small boy around 11-12 years old caught my eye. He was with his mom, playing enthusiastically with a very fancy airplane model.
I went to speak to him and to see his aircraft. He started telling me about the plane model very passionately and proudly exclaimed - "I want become a pilot."
I smiled and said (louder than I intended to) - "I wish I could say with equal conviction, what I wanted to become."
His mother who was observing the exchange, came up to me and said, "Wait till you reach 40 and have no choice but to accept what you have become."
