It is still called regret
If you would change your decision

Given a chance.
But to save ourselves 
From falling into repentance
We put the blame on Destiny.

Post It #6 - Twinge

I am not a person who easily accepts defeat. I fight back, do whatever I can. And I did. For a long time. Failed. 

Next, I tried to run away. Escape. But I couldn't.  
Trapped. Caged. Stuck. Frustrated. 

Finally I accepted my defeat. And found an unnatural satisfaction in it. Drowned myself in the mundane routine things. Comforting in its inherent discomfort.

The pain comes back once in a while. Sadness engulfs like a tight hug. I don't have enough strength left to fight back. 

The twinge remains. 

Post It #4 - Escapism

Happy New Year Folks!
I am just back from a trip to Bali and Macau, I have already booked my tickets for India next month and looking at tickets for Beijing and Shanghai in March. I am almost broke, living on credit cards. :P

Day dreaming of traveling to distant locations makes me wonder though, is traveling just another form of escapism?
